Our Northfield gypsy jazz jam sessions continue with a visit from Robert Bell, founder of the Twin Cities Hot Club. Mr. Bell is also a regular member of the esteemed Cafe Accordion Orchestra and will perform this month as a featured artist with the Fort Worth Symphony. Mark Kreitzer to Kick Off Gypsy Jazz Jam Series
Join the first of four gypsy jazz jam sessions coming to Northfield Minnesota. Each session will be led by a well-known local musician who will demonstrate basic rhythm and improvisation skills in a casual, community setting. Our first session will feature Mark Kreitzer, Instructor in American Folk Instruments at Carleton College. Mark is an experienced gypsy jazz veteran, appearing regularly with the Clearwater Hot Club, Mill City Hot Club and Twin Cities Hot Club. All sessions will take place 7-9 p.m. at the Rueb Upstairs, 503 Division Street in Northfield, MN. All instruments and abilities welcome!
