Help us welcome Sam Miltich from the northwoods of Grand Rapids, MN to the prairies of Northfield.  Join us for the unique opportunity to play with one of Minnesota's best gypsy jazz performers, a guy who true gypsies say plays their music "without an accent."  Sam burst on the scene as a young prodigy who spent the night of his high school prom on the road playing concerts in Germany.  He currently leads the Clearwater Hot Club and hosts "Sam Miltich and Friends", a weekly jazz night at the Grand Rapids VFW.  His most recent CD celebrates that local connection by showcasing live performances with many of Sam's musical friends from throughout the state (including yours truly!)  We look forward to having Sam back here in Northfield! 

About the Northfield Gypsy Jazz Jam Series:

All jam series sessions start off with a few tunes to highlight our guests, then roll into an open jam session with charts projected on the wall so everyone can play along.  All instruments are welcome, no experience necessary.  Join in the jam, or just come to listen!
